Jimmy Allen Sullivan, 78, of Goldsboro went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, October 12, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Wayne County, NC on March 25, 1947 to the late Alvin and Sally Wiggs Sullivan.  He attended Rosewood Church of God where he enjoyed spending time with church family and worshipping the Lord.  Mr. Sullivan loved to fish, spend time outdoors and especially doing woodwork.  He will be missed by all those who knew him, especially his close family he enjoyed spending time with.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by his loving wife, Joan Sullivan; son, Gary Sullivan and wife, Robin; his siblings; four grandchildren, Lex Beasley and wife, Kirsten, Adam Beasley and wife, Kourtney, Josh Sullivan and Jeremy Sullivan and three great-grandchildren, Graclynn Beasley, Bryson Sullivan and Mason Sullivan.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Sullivan and his siblings.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
