Jacqueline Requena, known as Jackie to family and friends, passed away Monday morning, October 6, 2025, in a motor vehicle accident in the Dobbersville community near Mount Olive.

Jackie, a resident of the Indian Springs area near Mount Olive,  was employed with RXO Shipping Company in Durham in warehouse inventory control.

She is survived by her daughter, Violet Requena Rodriguez of Mount Olive; her mother, Olga Deleon Requena of Mount Olive; her father, Genaro Requena of Mississippi; two sisters, Regina Requena and Crystal Requena, both of Mount Olive; a brother, Genaro Requena, Jr. of Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.

The Requena family will have a gathering for viewing and visitation on Friday, October 10, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive.  Jackie’s family will have a private burial service.
