Bradley “Brad” Scott Harper, 41, of the Grantham community passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Riverside Church in Princeton.  The family will receive friends following the service, and other times at the home of his grandmother, Meta Martin, 4547 Stevens Mill Road in Goldsboro.  The family request those in attendance to the service wear casual clothing as that is what Bradley would have wanted.

Bradley was born in Wayne County on October 2, 1984.  Bradley was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and welding.  He always enjoyed living life to the fullest.  Bradley will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Lily Harper of Mount Olive; his mother and step-father, Rita Hix McCullen and Michael of Mount Olive; his father, Owen Scott Harper of Mount Olive; his half brother, Dylan Harper of Mount Olive; his step-brother, Christopher McCullen of Roanoke Rapids; his step sister, Maranda Gilliam of Roanoke Rapids; his maternal grandmother, Meta Martin of Goldsboro; his aunts, Susie Hix of Goldsboro and Delores Loftin and husband, Joel of Kinston; his uncles, Charles Hix and wife, Sandra of Goldsboro, Walter Hix and wife, Patricia of Goldsboro and David Harper and wife, Mary of Goldsboro; his cousins, Jason Loftin and wife, Sasha, Eric Loftin, Jennifer Hix Smith and husband, Ryan and Brittany Toole and husband, Daniel and several close friends.

Bradley was preceded in death by the mother of his daughter, Jessica Aldridge Harper; his brother, Robert Daniel McCullen; his maternal grandfather, Leon Martin and paternal grandparents, Fred and Annie Belle Harper.
