Oreatha Ellerbe Robinson, 94, of Goldsboro departed this earthly life Monday, September 29, 2025 at her home. She was born in Rockingham, North Carolina on October 12, 1930 to the late John and Virginia Hines Ellerbe. She was a member of Deeper Life Church Ministries.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday, October 13, 2025 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, John A. “Tony” Pridgen of Goldsboro and Kenneth L. “Kenny” Pridgen of Goldsboro; four daughters, Deborah E. Pridgen-Pickard of Goldsboro, Olivia A. Pridgen-Ramsey of Goldsboro, Anita M. Burrell of Goldsboro and Karen Colleen Pridgen of LaGrange; one daughter-in-law, Darlene Pridgen of Dudley; one sister, Eva Casmir of Goldsboro and her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Pridgen and William Pridgen; one brother, Jimmy Ellerbe; two sisters, Annie Mae Marbley and Frances Manigault.
