Mary Lou Davis, 80, of Smithfield passed away at UNC Johnston on Friday, September 19, 2025.  She was born in Johnston County on November 4, 1944 to the late Gilbert Thell Davis and Ruby Daughtry Davis.

She is survived by son, Paul Douglas Davis; sister, Polly Lee, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the home of Polly Lee, 299 Lazy J Dr., Smithfield, N.C. 27577.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 29, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Park, Hwy 210, Smithfield, NC 27577.
