Local Haunted House Venue Features Multiple Terror Experiences and Interactive Entertainment

KINSTON, N.C. — Extreme Fear Scaregrounds at 401 Fairgrounds Road Kinston, NC 28504 (at the Lenoir County Fairgrounds) opened its doors September 20th for the Halloween season, offering thrill-seekers a comprehensive haunted attraction experience featuring four main terror zones and additional midway entertainment.

Dark Shadows

Visitors brave enough to enter the abandoned building will discover that the walls hold deep, dark secrets waiting to be exposed. The attraction warns that “it’s not the dark you should be afraid of,” promising an experience that goes beyond typical haunted house scares.

Mayhem 3D

This carnival-themed attraction features rebellious clowns who have turned against their traditional circus roles. Insanity Maze

After escaping from the asylum setting, visitors face a complex maze filled with difficult decisions at every turn. The attraction challenges guests to find their way out or risk joining those who have been “trapped for an eternity” within the maze’s confusing pathways.

The Asylum

This experience centers around a mysterious emergency call to a long-closed asylum facility. When Deputy Alan responds to the scene, he discovers an open front door and surging electrical power, setting the stage for an encounter with sinister forces lurking inside the building.
