Robert “Roach” Edwin Perry, 64, of Goldsboro passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro. 

Visitation will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.

Robert was born in Wayne County on April 13, 1961 to the late Vance Adolph and Mary Elizabeth Sullivan Perry.

He leaves to cherish his memories Amber Perry of Goldsboro and Mary Perry of Mt. Olive and Heather Green (Tavares) of Goldsboro; one brother, Joseph Rivenbark (Shannan) of Goldsboro; two sisters, Elizabeth A. King (Donnie) of Goldsboro and Susan Gala (Tony) of Trinity; three grandchildren three great-grandchildren and his special friends, Shirley Williams and Mike Jones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Vernell Lipscomb, Joyce McHale, Wanda Heath and Cindy Creech and a special companion, Teresa Williamson.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
