RALEIGH, N.C. — Football fans across North Carolina now have a convenient and eco-friendly way to reach Carolina Panthers home games, thanks to adjusted train schedules announced by NC By Train.
The state’s passenger rail service has modified its timetable to accommodate seven Panthers home games during the 2025 season, offering fans an alternative to highway travel for games scheduled September 21, October 5, October 12, October 26, November 9, November 30, and December 21 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
Two Morning Options Before Kickoff
Panthers supporters have two departure options to ensure arrival before the typical 1 p.m. kickoff time. Piedmont Train 71 provides an earlier arrival, stopping in Cary, Durham, Greensboro, and Kannapolis before reaching Charlotte around 9:30 a.m.
For those preferring a later departure, Piedmont Train 73 offers a more comprehensive route, leaving Raleigh Union Station at 8:40 a.m. and arriving in Charlotte at noon. This service includes additional stops in Cary, Durham, Burlington, Greensboro, High Point, Salisbury, and Kannapolis.
Post-Game Return Service
After the final whistle, fans can choose between two return services. Piedmont Train 76 departs Charlotte at 5 p.m., making stops in Kannapolis, Greensboro, Durham, and Cary before arriving in Raleigh just before 8 p.m.
A later option, Piedmont Train 78, leaves Charlotte at 7:45 p.m. with stops in Salisbury, High Point, Greensboro, Burlington, Durham, and Cary, arriving in Raleigh around 11 p.m.
