GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Wayne County Board of Education has announced meeting dates for four of its standing committees, with sessions scheduled to take place next week at the district’s central offices.

The committee meetings will be held in the boardroom of Wayne County Public Schools Central Services, located at 2001 E. Royall Avenue in Goldsboro.

The schedule begins with the Facilities Committee meeting on Sunday, September 15, at 8:30 a.m. The following Tuesday, September 17, will see three consecutive committee sessions: the Finance Committee at 10 a.m., followed by the Policy Committee at noon, and concluding with the Curriculum & Instruction Committee at 2 p.m.

All meetings are open to the public. Meeting agendas will be made available online at http://www.boarddocs.com/nc/wcpsnc/Board.nsf/Public# once they are posted.

These committee meetings serve as preliminary discussions for items that may later come before the full Board of Education for consideration. The committees address various aspects of school district operations, from budget matters and facility improvements to educational policy and instructional programs.
