WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. — The Steele Memorial Library will spark creativity and imagination during a special LEGO building event designed for elementary-age children and their caregivers on Thursday, September 11, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The hour-long program, targeted at students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade, promises to combine structured guidance with open-ended creativity. Library staff will provide participants with a starting concept, while children are encouraged to use their imagination to build and expand on the initial idea.
Library organizers will provide participants with a starting idea while encouraging children to bring their imagination to the creative process.
The hands-on activity requires advance registration due to space limitations. Parents and caregivers interested in signing up their children can contact the Children’s Desk at 919-299-8105, extension 5352.
The program reflects the library’s ongoing commitment to providing engaging, educational activities that promote creativity, problem-solving skills, and family interaction.
