WAYNE COUNTY, NC – The Wayne County Public Library’s Steele Memorial branch will welcome families with young children for an interactive storytime session designed to foster early literacy development and creative imagination.
The 30-minute program, scheduled for Tuesday, September 3, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., will feature stories, songs, and craft activities specifically tailored for children ages birth through five years old. The event encourages participation from caregivers alongside their young ones in an educational and entertaining environment.
The storytime program combines multiple learning approaches to help build essential listening and literacy skills while expanding vocabulary. The session aims to engage children through varied activities that support cognitive development during critical early learning years.
The drop-in event requires no advance registration, making it easily accessible for families in the Mt. Olive community. Parents, grandparents, and other caregivers are encouraged to attend with their children to participate in the interactive learning experience.
