August 4, 2025, 85, Goldsboro —

Ms.Betty Price Anderson, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 4, 2025, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family.

Born in Wayne County on February 28, 1940. Betty was the daughter of the late Cullen and Mary Price. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth A. Anderson, as well as a granddaughter, Samara Anderson and her siblings: Hilda Best, Mildred McCullen, and C.B. Price, Jr.

A faithful servant, Betty dedicated many years of her life working as a cashier with Piggly Wiggly of Mount Olive. Her warm smile made her customers feel valued and cared for.

Betty is survived by her children: sons; Keith Anderson (Dawn) and Mark Anderson (Aracely) as well as her daughter; Renee Anderson Barnes. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren; Chelsea Anderson Duffy (Brian), Shelle Anderson Smith (CJ), Mark David Anderson, Kenneth Jacob Anderson, Brian Barnes, and Emily Barnes, four great grandchildren; Connor Duffy, Chloe Duffy, Colin Duffy, and Trey Smith. She is also survived by her sister Peggy, Todd (Marvin) of Fayetteville. and her sister in law Ginger Price of Boone NC.
Per Betty’s wishes, there will be no formal service. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
