Theus “TB” Battle Wilson, 76, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. TB was born on April 20, 1949 in Wayne County.

TB answered the call of duty with honor and courage, and he became a member of the United States Air Force where bravely served in the Vietnam War. He found peace in the quiet of a fishing line and the thrill of the hunt. He cherished the time he spent in nature, whether casting a line or tracking game. TB was a dedicated longtime volunteer with the Bethany Volunteer Fire Department.

TB is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Pamela Renfrow Wilson; his son, Derek Wilson and his wife, Lee Anna; and his granddaughter, Katie Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Wiggs and Lorene Wiggs and his sister, Vickie Edwards.

A graveside service to honor TB’s life will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 in the New Jerusalem Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
