GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Sunrise Kiwanis Club demonstrated their commitment to community service by presenting a $600 donation to Rewarding Responders during their weekly meeting. Club President Elaine Van Hoy made the presentation to Mallory Dumond, Founder and President of the nonprofit organization.
Supporting Those Who Serve
Rewarding Responders operates with a meaningful mission: providing first responders and their families with all-expenses-paid vacations to Walt Disney World. The organization recognizes the sacrifices made by first responders and aims to give back to the community by offering families quality time together through memorable vacation experiences.
These vacations provide first responder families with an opportunity to bond and create lasting memories away from the stresses of their demanding careers.
Community Partnership in Action
The donation represents the Sunrise Kiwanis Club’s ongoing dedication to supporting local initiatives that benefit community heroes. By partnering with Rewarding Responders, the club directly contributes to recognizing and appreciating the service of first responders throughout the region.
