GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Two people were hospitalized following a shooting in the parking lot of the Cook Out restaurant early Sunday morning, prompting an active investigation by the Goldsboro Police Department.

Details of the Incident

The shooting occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on June 29, 2025, at Cook Out. Officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.

Emergency medical personnel provided immediate aid to both victims before transporting them to a local hospital for treatment. The current condition of the victims has not been disclosed.
