Comedy Tour “Moms Unhinged” Sets Sights on Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A comedy tour that has been selling out venues across the country is making a stop in Goldsboro at the Paramount Theatre, promising an evening of unfiltered humor about the realities of modern motherhood and adult life.

“Moms Unhinged,” an 18-and-over standup comedy show, will feature three female comedians tackling topics ranging from motherhood and marriage to divorce, online dating, and the everyday frustrations of adult life. While the show’s title suggests a focus on mothers, organizers emphasize that men are also welcome to attend.

The touring show bills itself as offering “clean (ish) comedy” and positions itself as an ideal night out for various groups, including friend gatherings, book clubs, neighborhood groups, or even mothers and daughters looking for entertainment together.

The Goldsboro performance will feature comedians Emily Holden and Holly Ballantine, with headliner Zoe Rogers leading the lineup. Rogers brings significant credentials to the show, having been featured on Nickmom.com and Disney Babble Up Late. Her comedy career includes performances at prestigious venues such as the Edinburgh Fringe and the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival.

Additionally, Rogers has participated in the Gilda Gala, a comedy event that honors the legacy of comedian Gilda Radner, and serves as producer of the Boulder Comedy Festival, which has gained recognition in the comedy circuit.

The show’s success across the country suggests a strong appetite for comedy that addresses the often-unspoken challenges and absurdities of modern adult life, particularly from a female perspective. The tour’s consistent sell-out performances indicate that audiences are responding positively to the candid approach to topics that many adults navigate daily.

Ticket holders should note that the show contains adult themes and language, making it appropriate only for audiences 18 and older. The performance represents part of a broader trend in comedy toward more authentic discussions of life experiences that resonate with adult audiences.
