Denny David Braswell, 75, of Smithfield passed away at his home on Friday, June 27, 2025.  He was born on June 17, 1950 to the late David Oscar Braswell and Cinderella Hill Braswell.  In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Turnage.

Denny is survived by a daughter, Lisa Renee Braswell Thomas and her husband, Coy of Thomasville, NC; grandchildren, Caleb Thomas and Joshua Thomas; great grandchildren, Maisie Thomas and Coy Lindsey Thomas.
