Quinton Leon Swinson II, born on September 4, 1988, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 13, 2025. He was 36 years old.

Quinton was born in Wilson, North Carolina, and later settled in Goldsboro, where he spent the rest of his days. He was deeply loved, widely respected, and never feared a soul.

Affectionately known as Fatboy, Quinton will be remembered most for his humorous personality, relentless hustle, and those bright hazel eyes that seemed to look straight through you.

Though life threw many challenges his way, Quinton faced them head-on. He had a rough journey, but he overcame every obstacle with resilience and heart. His strength was undeniable, and his presence was powerful.

He was preceded in death by his father, Quinton Swinson Sr.

Quinton leaves behind his beloved children: Za’mere Swinson, Sincere Swinson, and Layla Swinson. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Bernice Swinson; his sisters, Sabrina Williams and Octavia (Albert) Brown; and his brothers, Antwan (Ashley) Williams, Derrick Swinson. Ermanno Kenney, and Adrane Swinson.

He is lovingly remembered by his nieces: Teirra Williams, Iesha Williams, Shontel Williams, Nyla Williams, Adrianna Swinson, and Annie Swinson; and his nephews: Malik Williams and Ayden Williams. He also leaves behind a host of cherished family members and friends who will carry his memory forward.

Special recognition is given to Amanda Ross and Brittany Williams, the mothers of his children, who will continue to honor Quinton’s legacy with love and admiration.

Forever carrying his memory and honoring the unbreakable bond they shared in North End are Quan, Stakk, Tae, Elp, and Keshia McGee. Along with the host of loved ones he met along the way.
