Celebrating 46 Years of Creativity: National Art Show Returns to Wayne County

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Entries for the 46th Annual National Juried Art Show, a highly acclaimed event which brings artists from across the country together to celebrate creativity, diversity, and artistic excellence, are now officially open for the Arts Council of Wayne County.

Now in its 46th year, the show continues to provide a forum for both emerging and established artists to showcase their work under professionally juried circumstances. Painters, sculptors, photographers, and multimedia artists of all backgrounds are invited to submit their work for consideration.

This show is an excellent opportunity not only to honor native ability but to bring fresh ideas to our town in a fertile diversity of artistic perspectives,” a press release from the Arts Council said. “It’s a celebration of artistry—one that unites our hometown artists with artists from all across the country.”.

Artists selected for the show will have their work shown in an invigorating gallery exhibition and also be vying for cash prizes awarded by a juror panel. The exhibition has become a fixture on the local cultural calendar, garnering the interest of collectors, critics, and visitors.
