Ms. Mary L. Gillette age 83 peacefully transitioned into a world of eternal peace and rest on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Her journey on this earth was marked by grace, strength and a heart full of love. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 2:00pm at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 209 S. Carey Street, La Grange, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

She was born on September 12, 1941 in Wayne County, NC to Julius Parks and Vertie Flannigan. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
