Henry David Ward, age 67, of Hare Road, peacefully departed this life on Thursday at his residence, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and dedication. 

He was born on August 23, 1957, in Wilson County to Roosevelt and Geraldine Spruill Ward.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Pastor Janet Williams Ward, and their four children.

A celebration of  life will be held on Friday, May 16, at 12:00 noon at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship, where Bishop Timothy Dortch will officiate. Following the service, burial will take place at Golden Gate Memorial Gardens in Pikeville, NC,

Visitation will be held Friday one hour prior at the church.
