Denise Marie Giggey Jones, 71 of Smithfield passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.  She was born on October 4, 1953 in Lebanon, New Hampshire to Beverly Martha Willette Giggey and the late Linwood Clifford Giggey.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Giggey.

She was an artist and produced multiple paintings.  She was very fond of seasonal landscape art work.

She is survived by her mother, Beverly Martha Willette Giggey; sons, Eric Miner and Daryl Jones (Lindsay); brothers, Lenny Giggey (Janice), David Giggey and Kris Giggey; sister, Lori Giggey and 4 grandchildren, Asher Jones, Carter Jones, Kason Miner and Ashton Miner.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Little Creek Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2585 Little Creek Church Rd., Clayton, N.C. 27530.  The Family will receive friends after the service.
