March 21, 2025, 69, Belfast —

Teresa Darlene Stone-Hinnant, 69, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord in the early hours of March 21, 2025 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born in Wayne County on February 29, 1956, she was daughter to Bobby Ray Stone, Sr. and Christine Brown Stone.

Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She worked with the mentally disabled at O’Berry Center for 29 years. She also loved to garden and cook.

Teresa is survived by husband, William Hinnant of the home; her daughter, Katherine and her husband, Josh; her grandson, Bentley; her mother, Christine Stone; her siblings, Bobby Stone Jr. and Pamela Valdez; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Ray Stone Sr. and sister Crystal Stone Bergner.

A service to honor Teresa’s life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Don Sauls officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at, 3048 US Hwy 117 North, Goldsboro, NC, 27530.
