JC Burney passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston at the age of 94.

At his request, a private graveside service will be held at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.

Service arrangements are by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
