Arlene Pearl Vandevander Rexrode, 96, departed this walk of life Friday evening, July 26, 2024, at The Ridge in Pikeville, NC.

Mrs. Rexrode was born in Arbovale, West Virginia on January 6, 1928, to the late Wesley and Lora Rader Vandevander.  

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Rebecca “Becky” Ann McCarty and husband, Clyde of Goldsboro and Starlet Kay Greene of Pikeville, NC; one sister, Mary Cassell of West Virginia; one grandson, Brian Warner and wife, Elizabeth “Beth” and one great-grand on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Hoover Rexrode.

Services will be held at the Arbovale Chapel of Wallace and Wallace Funeral Chapels with burial to follow at Arbovale Cemetery in Arbovale, West Virginia.
