Lynn Christine Walter Davis, 75, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Born on December 21, 1947, she was the daughter of the late William Walter and Aletha Luce Walter.

For many years, Lynn worked as a cost analyst for the United States Air Force. When not at work, Lynn and her husband, Johnny, could oftentimes be seen traveling to the beach and the Caribbean. There was no adventure too big for her. Wherever she went, both domestically and abroad, Lynn was able to make friends and memories that would last a lifetime.

Lynn was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church. Her heart and compassion for others were evident in her everyday life. For Lynn, her love for her family knew no bounds. She loved and cherished each moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lynn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

A memorial service to celebrate Lynn’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Johnny Davis; daughter, Elaine Chambers; step-children, Brian Davis and Denise Rivera; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Sidney Markle and Joyce Henderson; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Lynn is also survived by her orange feline friend, Tiger.

In addition to her parents, Lynn is preceded in death by her brother, Roger Walter; and stepson Steven Davis.
