Mr. Tony L. Blanchard, 56, peacefully passed on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. A memorial celebration will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023, at 2:00 pm with Reverend Daniel Woods officiating at the home of Gene and Nancy Baker, 4783 Hwy 70 W, Goldsboro, NC.

Tony was born on June 25, 1966, in Wayne County, NC to Joseph F. Blanchard and Addie Y. Davis. He was preceded in death by his mother, Addie Y. Davis; brother, Joey Blanchard; nephews: Joshua and Aaron Blanchard and Isaiah Held. Tony is survived by his father, Joseph F. (Sue) Blanchard of Bridgeport, Connecticut; sister, Pebbles Brown of La Grange, NC; sister-in-law, Lee Blanchard of Pikeville, NC; nieces and nephews: Cameron Blanchard of Goldsboro, NC, Ursula and Cody Brown of La Grange, NC, Vinny Held of Deep Run, NC; Beth Ervin of Goldsboro, NC; Justin Blanchard of Durham, NC and Joseph Peterson of Rapid City, SD; uncle, Dalton (Christine) Grant of Snow Hill, NC; cousins: Jr. Grant and Mary Daw.

Tony was an avid golfer and loved watching Nascar racing. He was a fan of the Chicago Bulls and the NC Tarheels.
