Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Miss Jaida La’trece Warren, 11 months old, was born to Jacob Warren and Shanquala Applewhite on July 19, 2021, at the Duke University Hospital.

She was welcomed back to heaven after a short stay on earth on July 3, 2022, at Duke University in Durham, NC.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother; Towanda Applewhite and maternal great grandparents Lenora Artis, William Artis, and an aunt Ta’Sheena Applewhite

She leaves to cherish her memories her parents; Jacob Warren and Shanquala Applewhite, her twin; Ja’bari Warren, two brothers: De’Mari Cogdell, and Camren Reed; her sister, Jaela Warren, her maternal grandparent; Gary Artis, her paternal grandmother; Eileen Warren, aunts: Brittany Applewhite and Ashley Applewhite; uncle Matthew Warren, as well as host of other families, and friends.
