David Rickey Worley, 76, of 219 Avenue Road entered into his resting place Saturday, February 12th, 2022, at WakeMed Raleigh Campus.
Mr. David Rickey Worley attended Crumplers Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy. He was an avid musician, playing multiple instruments with many bands over the course of his years.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, at Evergreen Funeral Home, Cemetery & Cremation (Chapel). Following a service at 2 pm with Rev. Steve Singleton will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luria Kathleen Hartley Worley and David Albert Worley, siblings Willie Matthew Worley, Steve Worley, Sheila Gail Worley Singleton, Ronald Shelton Worley, and Mavis Marie Worley Young.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Powell Worley of the home, sister, Julia Worley Friend of Clinton, two daughters, Angela Worley Lee of Seven Springs, NC, and Chelsea Brooke Preddy (Gordon) of Mt. Pleasant, five grandchildren, Jason Kyle Lee, Kameron Elise Lee, Kasey Ryan Lee, Palmer Gordon Preddy and Baby Deacon Brooks Preddy (a bundle of joy yet to arrive into the world).
