Kinston Police say they have located the body of a person missing since this past weekend.

In the early morning hours of Saturday, the Kinston Police Department was informed a subject had jumped off the Queen Street bridge.  The missing individual was identified as 23-year-old Dakota Gray of La Grange.  At the time, the Kinston Fire Department was called to assist in the water rescue.  However, firefighters and officers were unable to locate Gray, and the search continued for several days.

Around 9:30 AM on Wednesday, crews located Gray, who was deceased, about five miles from the Queen Street bridge.
