David Bruce Henderson, age 44, resident of Faison, N.C., died Tuesday afternoon, March 9, 2021 in a traffic accident.

David’s working career included carpentry, roofing, and extensive handy man skills. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ray Henderson; and his grandparents, Jessie Faye Berryhill Idol, Johnnie Lee Berryhill, Duncan Henderson, and Vissie Henderson.

David is survived by his parents, Donald Bruce Henderson and Deborah Berryhill Henderson, both of Faison; three brothers, Johnnie Lee Henderson and wife, Brooke, of Princeton, Chris Henderson and fiance, Tiarra, of Faison, and Timothy Henderson and wife, Sarah, of Faison; a sister, Jessica Leanne Henderson and fiance, Ahizion Wilson, both of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

The Henderson family will receive friends on Saturday, March 13, from 12 Noon until 1:30 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. by the graveside in the Faison Town Cemetery (new section). The Rev. Asa Lee will preside.
