Adell Garner Moore

Adell Garner Moore, age 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday evening at her home. Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Maggie Faison Garner and the wife of the late Raymond Moore. She was a member of Love & Unity Fellowship and was a former member of Tabernacle of Prayer for over 30 years as well as a graduate of the Tabernacle of Prayer Institute.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Noon in Wayne Memorial Park with her son-in-law, Pastor Octavius Edwards officiating. The family will visit with friends from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughters, Barbara Martin of Pikeville, NC, Aneica Battle of Mt. Olive, NC (Horace Battle, Sr. of Mt. Olive), Ramona Edwards (Octavius) of West Palm Beach, FL; God Daughter, Bertha Garner Robinson of Seattle, WA; brother, James Edward Garner (Carolyn); grandchildren, Sabrina, Jayzena (Damien), Virgil, Bentica (Lee), Eric (April), Octavia, Whitney (Lester) and Kolby; 20 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Roscoe Garner, Jr. and her grandson, Horace Lee Battle, Jr.
