Eta Remnants To Bring Rain, Possible Flooding To N.C.

The area is battening down the hatches as the remnants of Hurricane Eta approach North Carolina.

The remnants of the storm mixing with a cold front may bring widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms today through Thursday.

The National Weather Service says 2 – 3 inches of rainfall are possible in the Wayne County area with higher amounts possible depending on where the storms hit.

As of now, there are no watches or warnings in effect for Wayne County.

However, there are flood and flash flood watches in effect for areas to the east and west.
