Registration For WCC Spring Classes Begins Next Week

Registration for spring 2021 college credit courses at Wayne Community College is beginning.

New students can sign up for spring classes during “open registration,” 8 a.m.-7 p.m. on Nov. 9, Nov. 10, and Nov. 12, and 8 a.m.-noon on Nov. 13 on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro. Registration will continue Monday-Friday, Nov. 16-Dec. 15 during advisors’ office hours.

Returning students can register online beginning Nov. 2.

The next open registration opportunities will be 8 a.m.-7 p.m. on Jan.4 and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2021.

Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible in order to get the courses and schedule they want.

The majority of courses offered in the spring 2021 semester will be hybrid (divided between face-to-face and online instruction) or completely online. A complete schedule of spring courses can be found at www.waynecc.edu/course-schedules/.

New students must complete the enrollment process, take any necessary placement tests, and be accepted in order to register for classes. The steps that new students need to take are explained at www.waynecc.edu/apply-now/new-student/.

Classes offered on campus and on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, as well as distance education courses, start Jan. 6 and end May 5.

Tuition and fees are due on Dec. 15 for students who register in November and December. The college’s payment plan is one option for those who cannot pay the full amount out of pocket; find details at www.mycollegepaymentplan.com/waynecc.
