Linda Gurley Sarver, 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

Linda was born in Wayne County on July 18, 1946 to the late Linwood William Gurley and Ruby Mozingo Gurley.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020 in Wayne Memorial Park.

Linda is survived by her husband, Lynden D. Sarver; daughter, Robin Denise Jowers of Michigan; son, Emmitt Clifford Jones of Greenville; sister, Evelyn Gurley Ezzell of Goldsboro; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Linwood Earl Gurley.
