The United Way of Wayne County held its annual Day of Action last week Thursday. During this year’s Day of Action, United Way was able to collect over 100 letters/cards for homebound seniors as well as 50 handmade masks and 61 personal hygiene kits. The food drive was able to distribute to five nonprofits. United Way says there was a great turnout of volunteers and donors, and it was a wonderful chance to come together to help our neighbors, even when we have to be physically apart.
