Wayne Chamber Assists Businesses During Pandemic

There is hardly a business or industry that has not been affected during the coronavirus crisis, and small businesses are being hit hardest.

In an interview with Jeff Farrow on Goldsboro’s Greatest Hits 1150 and 98.3, Wayne County Chamber President Kate Daniels talked about the latest efforts to help local businesses.

The chamber has been hosting regular webinars to help businesses stay engaged with their customers and the assistance that is available during the pandemic.

Daniels says the health and safety of the community always comes first, and businesses that are open or reopening are implementing more stringent health safety standards to keep customers safe.

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is launching two new Groups on Facebook:

  • Wayne County Eats & Drinks
  • Wayne County Retail & Services

In just the past month, the Chamber’s Facebook page has had a 73% increase in page followings. There is a lot of traction on social media right now and it is garnering needed exposure for all businesses.  The chamber is launching these two groups in hopes to better streamline marketing. With these group pages, the Wayne County Chamber is connecting businesses directly with those looking for services.

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce offers a COVID-19 Toolkit for Businesses on its website.
