An area just west of Mount Olive suffered some of the heaviest damage during the severe storms that swept through Wayne County Monday morning.  As of 9:30 AM Monday, portions of O’Berry Road and Thigpen Dairy Road were closed near the intersection of the two roadways.  Tree debris needs to be cleared before both roads can be reopened.
