MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — The Town of Mount Olive has issued an updated traffic advisory announcing that a portion of West James Street will remain closed through Friday, November 6, 2026.
According to town officials, the southbound lane of Breazeale Avenue at West James Street has reopened to traffic.
However, the road closure between West James Street and Southerland Street will remain in effect through Friday, November 6.
Motorists traveling through the area are encouraged to use caution, plan for possible delays, and seek alternate routes while the closure remains in place.
The Town of Mount Olive will provide additional updates as they become available.
