MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — The Town of Mount Olive issued a public notice Tuesday, October 20, alerting residents and businesses to low or no water pressure in several areas due to a water leak.
According to town officials, the affected areas include Highway 55, Breazeale Avenue, Bert Martin Road, and Henderson.
The town anticipated that water service would be fully restored by 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials advised customers that they may experience discolored water once service is restored. Residents who notice discoloration are encouraged to allow their water to run until it clears.
Customers who continue to experience water service issues or discoloration should contact Mount Olive Town Hall at 919-658-9539.
The town has not provided additional details regarding the cause or location of the leak.
