GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro Parks and Recreation will celebrate the grand opening of a new all-inclusive playground at North End Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, October 23, at 10 a.m.
The new playground is designed to provide a safe, adaptive, and welcoming play environment, allowing children of varying abilities to enjoy outdoor recreation.
The project was made possible through a $250,000 grant from Trillium Health Resources, supporting the city’s efforts to expand inclusive recreational opportunities for children and families throughout the community.
The addition of the all-inclusive playground represents an investment in making Goldsboro’s public parks more accessible and ensuring that children of different abilities have opportunities to play, explore, and interact in a shared environment.
City officials and community members will gather for the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially mark the completion and opening of the playground.
