September 3, 2026, 56, – Christopher “Chris” L. Hatch, 56, passed away Thursday evening, September 3, 2026 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family.
A visitation will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory with the funeral service celebrating his life at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment will follow at Golden Gate Cemetery in Pikeville. The family will be receiving friends at the home of his mother, Christine Hinnant, 3214 Central Heights Road in Goldsboro at other times.
Chris leaves to cherish his memory and legacy; his loving wife, Angela Hatch; children, Christopher Hatch (Jaquez), Acura, Eric and Cherish; mother, Christine Hinnant (James); siblings, Keisha Saunders (Jay), James Jr., Deidra and Dominic; five grandchildren, I’Mari, I’Keem, Imiya, Caisen and Zariah; three sisters-in-laws; one brother-in-law; five aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends and brothers.
