August 11, 2026, 89, Goldsboro – Bobbie Lee Butler, 89, passed away the morning of Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at UNC Wayne Health. Bobbie was born in Wake County on November 21, 1936 to Daniel M. Payton and Lettie Belle Dunn. She was retired from Cherry Hospital where she worked in the reimbursement office.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Keen of Goldsboro, sister Peggy Payton Meready of Kinston and granddaughter, Kristen Parker Wagner of Wilson Mills.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; Elmon “Buddy” Keen and Kenneth Glenn Butler, daughter; Sabrina Keen Parker as well as a brother and two sisters.
Graveside service will be on Friday, August 14th at 9am at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
