August 1, 2026, 88, Goldsboro – It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Mr. Aaron Louis Thompson age 88 who departed this life peacefully on Saturday, August 01, 2026 at Goldsboro Rehabilitation and Health Center in Goldsboro, North Carolina surrounded by his loving daughters. His gentle spirit, quiet strength and unwavering love made him cherished in the lives of all who knew him. The Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Goldsboro Chapel FWB Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Ct., Goldsboro, NC 27530. There will be a viewing from 10:00-10:50 AM 1 hour prior to the service. There will be a viewing on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 with the family present from 5:00 -7:00 PM. at JB Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534. He will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
