June 24, 2026, 80, Goldsboro – Susan Brown Perrine, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home on June 24, 2026.
Born on August 28, 1945, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Susie was the daughter of the late John William Brown, Jr. and Margaret Grow Brown. Susie grew up in Morgantown, WV where she attended Morgantown High School graduating in 1964.
Susie moved to Goldsboro in 1976 where she raised her family with pride and joy. She had a passion for sewing, interior design and decorating. She was able to turn her talent and passion into a small business. Susie also enjoyed cooking and loved sharing meals and recipes with her ladies supper club.
Susie is survived by her daughter Allison Perrine Corsmeier (Brad), along with their children: Margaret Thomas Corsmeier, Ada Bradley Corsmeier and Samuel Crawford Corsmeier. She is also survived by her sister Lucy Brown Snyder, and her children Sydney Pringle, W.G. Pringle, John Pringle and Charles Pringle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Tommy Richard Perrine, Jr, her brother John William Brown III and her longtime partner Harvey Wallace Reinhardt.
The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care given to Susie by Diane Weeks, Shawn Best, Gina Cochrane, and Linda Spruill.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 10:00-11:00 am at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Susie’s life at 11:00 am in the chapel. A private inurnment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susie’s memory to your local animal rescue.
