May 16, 2026, 85, Goldsboro – Mr. James Preston (Boe) Morgan, age 85, peacefully transitioned into a world of eternal peace and rest on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. His journey on this earth was marked by grace, strength and a heart full of love.
The Celebration of Life will be Friday, May 22,2026 at 11:00 AM at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb St. Goldsboro, NC 27530. There will be a Chapel Viewing, Thursday, May 21,2026 at J.B. Rhodes Jr. Chapel, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
He will be laid to rest at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
