April 23, 2026, 46, Goldsboro – Mr. Antwon Demorick Thompson, 46, departed this life on April 23, 2026. Born on September 18, 1979, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, Antwon was the beloved son of La’Trevia Wilson.
Antwon was a proud 1998 graduate of Reynolds High School, where he left a lasting impression on classmates and teachers alike. During his school years, he excelled in football and track and field and was actively involved in the theatre department, where his vibrant personality and creativity shined brightly.
Antwon was a man of many passions and talents. He found joy in cooking meals for those he loved and expressing himself through writing. His warm spirit, sense of humor, and caring heart touched the lives of many. Whether sharing laughter, offering encouragement, or simply being present for family and friends, Antwan created memories that will live on forever.
Above all, Antwon loved his family deeply. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving mother, La’Trevia Wilson; his brother, Floyd Thompson III; his sister, Mary Miller (Justin); and his daughters, Nadia Franklin, Nasha Franklin, and Leilani Thompson, who were among his greatest joys in life.
Antwon was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Wilson; his grandmother, Elizabeth Frost; his brother, Solomon Wilson; and his beloved son, Lance Thompson.
Though Antwon’s earthly journey has ended, his legacy of love, laughter, creativity, and resilience will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
