May 3, 2026, 78, Goldsboro – Mary Frances Kennedy, age 78, passed away Sunday, May 03, 2026 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Born in Mount Olive, North Carolina on June 26, 1947, to the late Robert Smith & Mable Smith. She was married to Late Raymond Kennedy.
She is survived by her brother James Allen Smith, and his wife Jean Smith. Her children James Lewis Merritt, Victoria Merritt Olmsted, And Richard W. Merritt and his wife Lisa Merritt. As well as nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on May 8th, at East Duplin Memorial Gardens in Beulaville.
