RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wayne County leader is stepping into a key regional role aimed at strengthening nonprofit impact across Eastern North Carolina.
Camber Foundation announced Tuesday the formation of its inaugural Advisory Council, naming Pikeville resident Todd Brantley among its first members. The council is designed to provide strategic guidance and community insight as the foundation expands its philanthropic work throughout the region.
Brantley serves as a senior advisor with Armstrong McGuire, where he focuses on nonprofit leadership and organizational development. His professional background includes extensive experience in communications, strategic planning, policy analysis, research, operations, and economic development.
Foundation leaders say Brantley’s combination of expertise and local knowledge will be instrumental in shaping the organization’s direction.
“Todd brings both the strategic perspective and the community connection that make our Advisory Council stronger,” said Leslie Ann Jackson. “His understanding of nonprofits and the rural communities we serve will be an asset to our work.”
Brantley joins four other leaders from across Eastern North Carolina on the council: Schumata Brown, Velva Jenkins, Kim Crickmore Osborne, and Alice Schenall. Together, the group will help inform and guide the foundation’s efforts to support community-driven solutions.
Founded in 2022, the Camber Foundation focuses on investing in nonprofit initiatives that address health and wellness, education, and economic development. Its mission centers on empowering local communities by supporting solutions developed from within.
Through the new Advisory Council, the foundation aims to deepen its engagement across Eastern North Carolina while ensuring its work reflects the unique needs and perspectives of the communities it serves.
