April 21, 2026, 27, Newton Grove – Zachry “Zach” Brenton Woodcock, age 27, tragically passed away on Tuesday, April 21st. Born in Sampson County, Zach was an auto mechanic working with Scott Pope and his family at Oil & Supply Warehouse. Zach loved the Pope family and being able to work with them. He attended Union Community Church and was a “work-a-holic”. Zach loved motorcycles and anything with wheels and a motor. When he was not working, he was chasing ducks wherever he could find them.
Zach was preceded in death by his brother, Jackson Woodcock and grandparents, James Woodcock, Patricia Brick, Hugh Brick, Sr. and Frank Jackson.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11:00 am at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Smith officiating.
Zach is survived by his wife, Jordan Woodcock; his canine children, Layla, Millie and Harper; his parents, Jamie (Cynthia) Woodcock and Diane (Mike) Jones; his brothers, Maison Woodcock and his wife, Kara and Josh Villnave and his wife, Haley; a nephew, Stetson; his grandparents, Susan Woodcock, Judy Jackson, Rick and Nonna Olson, Susan Hall, and Dawson and Rita Merrill.
